Web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities... It defines three levels of compliance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. Dolphin Academy is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially compliant means that some parts of the content are not fully compliant with the accessibility standard.

​Dolphin Academy has assessed the accessibility of Dolphin Academy with the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation

  • A self-assessment process through the WIX Accessibility Wizard. Data

​We have adapted this site in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and we have made this site accessible to Level AA. The contents of this site have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, like screen readers and  gli screen readers e the use of the keyboard.

​Undertaken actions:

  • The accessibility wizard was used to identify and resolve potential accessibility problems

  • Set the main language of the site 

  • Set the order of content pages of the site

  • Defined clear header structures on all site pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented the color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced use of site motions

  • Verified that all videos, audios and files on the site are accessible
